Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern your use of Fegla's platform, website, and mobile app (collectively, "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree, discontinue use immediately.

1. About Fegla

Fegla ("we", "us", "our") operates a social platform connecting people through shared dining experiences and meetups. You can create a profile, get matched with like-minded people, and join organized dinners and social gatherings.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement. All information you provide must be true, accurate, and complete. We may request proof of age or identity and suspend accounts that don't qualify.

3. User Conduct

Treat fellow participants with respect — online and in person. You must not:

  • Hack, disrupt, or introduce malware to our platform
  • Harass, abuse, stalk, or threaten others
  • Share offensive or unlawful content
  • Use the platform for commercial solicitation without our consent
  • Attend events under the influence of illegal substances or behave in ways that endanger others

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate this code and pursue legal action if warranted.

4. Account Responsibility

You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and your account information current. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use. You agree not to provide fraudulent information and to comply with all applicable laws.

5. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations

Fees are in Egyptian Pounds (EGP), inclusive of applicable taxes. Payment is required at booking. We accept Visa and MasterCard in EGP.

Your cancellation:

  • 48+ hours before: full refund
  • 24–48 hours before: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours: non-refundable

Refunds processed within 21 working days.

Our cancellation: If we cancel, you get a full refund or rescheduling option.

We do not store, sell, or share your credit/debit card details.

6. Assumption of Risk

Fegla organizes gatherings but is not responsible for individual participants' conduct. You participate at your own discretion. We perform basic profile verification but cannot guarantee anyone's identity. Exercise common-sense caution, and report inappropriate behavior immediately through the app.

No Guarantee of Match Quality: We use AI and profile data to suggest compatible matches, but we do not guarantee that any match will result in friendship, meaningful connection, or a satisfactory social experience.

Venues & Third Parties: Events may take place at partner restaurants and venues. Fegla is not responsible for the quality of food, beverages, service, cleanliness, safety, or any other aspect of third-party venues. Any issues with venue experience should be raised directly with the venue.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content is owned by Fegla or its licensors. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use content you post (profile pictures, reviews) to provide and promote our Services. Do not use our name, trademarks, or logos without written consent.

8. Liability

We do not limit liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Otherwise, we are not liable for: other participants' conduct; service interruptions; third-party venue quality; platform bugs; device damage; or relationships formed through the platform.

Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your conduct at events, or your violation of any law.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, circumvent our controls, threaten platform safety, or if required by law. After termination, we retain certain data for at least six years as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. General

Communications: You consent to receiving essential electronic communications (booking confirmations, reminders, notices) via push notifications, SMS, or email.

Changes: We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

Governing Law: Egypt is our country of domicile. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

Severability: If any provision is invalid, the rest remain in effect.

No Waiver: Not enforcing a right doesn't mean we waive it.
